Stew is Head of Policy at Energy Saving Trust, a trusted, independent voice, with over 25 years’ experience of providing advice and support around home energy efficiency, low carbon transport and renewable energy generation. Stew’s team leads Energy Saving’s Trust policy, influencing and public affairs work across the UK. Stew is also a Consumer Affairs expert on the Bar Standards Board’s APEX committee. 

Stew previously led Citizens Advice’s energy infrastructure work, wining Charity Times “Campaigning Team of the Year” in 2018, and earlier in his career he worked on various areas of consumer policy at energy regulator Ofgem and in the UK government.
